Facilities
The Homestead has full Kitchen and laundry facilities. A dining room and lounge, with it own mini library. Two toilets and two Showers.
The homestead has a quality sounds system with outdoor speakers for the BBQ area.
The Hut has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet and a mini Kitchenette.
Outdoor Entertaining
There are two outdoor terraces that maximize the morning or afternoon sun with spectacular views over Rotomate.
Nestled into the hillside is an outdoor BBQ area with an open fire and BBQ hotplate. This area flows onto the croquet lawn.
Flowing down from the BBQ area you head out to the Tennis Court.
Prices
The Homestead and Hut $1000 per night Sleeps up to 12 people.
The Hut $250 per night Sleeps up to 4 people.
If used in conjunction with the Event facilities Individual room rates can be applied.

Sausage Making Course
If you are looking for something a little different to do with your team. Immerse yourself in the world of sausage making. Using real meat and ingredients learn the basics of what makes a good sausage. We even do Vegetarian sausages.

If cooking your own isn't your thing. Let our own private chef cater for you. From rustic home cooked meals to 3 course plated dinners. The food is prepared fresh every day and sourced from local seasonal ingredients. Cook with love.
Morning and Afternoon Tea $20 per person per Tea
Home cooked food made with love catered to your requirements using local and seasonal produce. Price is for one meal only if morning and afternoon tea is required the price is double.
Lunch $40 per Person

Dinner $80 per Person
Home cooked food made with love catered to your requirements using local and seasonal produce. Dinner includes a three course meal with wine match.
The Woolshed $500 per Day
Built in 2020 and boasting a state of the art audio visual system with projector and surround sound, perfect for any team building event.
A large deck overlooking the magnificent Mangaotaki Valley.
Out door fire pit and petanque area.
Ice bath for all those afternoon refreshments.

Dicks Pond POA
Set up a marquee beside the pond and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of dicks pond. Get married in the bush or set up your board table under the native trees and refresh your team with some wilderness thinking. Or just have lunch at Duck camp on the cast iron cooker the choice is yours.
Homestead Lawn POA
For those wanting something a little smaller the BBQ area and croquet lawn at the homestead are ideal for those more intimate get togethers and team building events.
Something a little Different POA
Or we can scout the farm and find you the perfect location for your next function or team building event. Maybe its beside the Mangaotaki River, in among some rocks, or maybe you want to fly in and utilize the airstrip. The choice is yours.
Rotomate Walk
This 4 to 6 hour 9 Km walk takes in some picturesque rolling King Country farm land. With pockets of mature native bush, outstanding limestone cliffs and tomos. Plenty of natural waterfalls and fresh streams meander past. If you are quiet long enough you may even see the odd deer and possibility a hobbit or two.
Dicks Pond
For those who are a little less inclined for a full days walk this 2 to 3 hour 5 km walk takes in the stunning Dicks pond with three maimai's and some spectacular planting carried out by Barrie. Also a large bush block with some amazing views down the Mangaotaki Valley before a gentle stroll down the lane back home.
